We had an amazing stay at Hillmotts! It’s such a lovely big social space that was perfect for family gatherings. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of different glasses, serving platters and everything needed to host such a big group. The beds were all really comfy and it was a lovely touch with the personalised robes! I’d highly recommend staying here if you have a big group but also want the space to spread out.

We had an amazing 8 day family christmas at Hillmotts Farm far exceeding our wildest dreams. The house and location were perfect for our group of 16 varying in age from 6 months to near 70. We rented the excellent lodge to accomodate the larger group. Hayley was the perfect host helping us considerably with valuable preplanning advice. Absolutely would stay at Hillmott again and totally recommend.

One of the best places I stayed at in the UK! The house is very close to London yet you feel totally disconnected once you get there. Hayley is very responsive and helpful and the house was very clean with thoughtful personal touches like the music in the kitchen and the welcome box with coffee and tea. Thank you! We stayed at the Hilmott Farmhouse and it was so lovely. We had been let down by another host on the day of the trip and Hayley was able to accommodate us at the last minute. Check-in was super easy, and it was such a relief to arrive at a beautiful, stylish, cosy property. Spa-style robes and slippers in each room added to the luxury spa feel and were really appreciated. Comfy, cosy beds and blankets and the hot tub is such a great addition. Hayley always replied immediately to any queries and was super helpful and relaxed. Thanks for saving the weekend!

I booked Hillmotts Farmhouse for a group of 11 ladies to celebrate my 30th birthday. From the time of booking, communication had been fantastic, very informative and quick responses to my enquiries. We booked the house from Friday to Monday, which also gave us the option to book the retreat for exclusive access on the Sunday- just what we wanted!

On our arrival, we received a warm welcome from Ellie and Hayley, who informed us we were the first the stay since the refurbishment, which only added to our excitement. We were given the tour of the house, which is beautifully decorated, with plenty of space for our group. Each guest was given their own Hillmotts dressing gown and slippers for use during our stay. The welcome pack gave us all the information we could of needed, including instructions for the hot tub, heating, oven etc, recommendations for places to visit or dine at, and contact numbers for taxi companies. It also gave details of what else was available if we wanted to book, such as a private chef. We also received a welcome hamper with tea, coffee, cake and a bottle of Prosecco. We were also given plastic flute glasses to use while drinking in the hot tub.

On the Saturday, some of our party went for a walk to explore the grounds and local area, while other went into Beaconsfield old town. The grounds were very scenic and we spotted numerous wild life- you would not think we were so close the Beaconsfield services! We also made use of the hot tub, even in the freezing cold weather.

Saturday night, Hilmotts Farmhouse was host to our murder mystery evening- more than enough room for us in the living room and around the dining table.

Sunday, we made the stones throw walk across to The Retreat, where we were greeted by Frances. 6 of us enjoyed a pamper package consisting of a massage (60mins) and facial (15mins) for £90. Some chose the hot stone, others chose the aromatherapy- both we would recommend. This also included afternoon sparkling tea, whiched catered for all 11 of us, with the other 5 of our group also able to use the relaxation room.

We all had a fantastic weekend and can’t wait to organise our next weekend away here.
